Philippe Farnier is the Chief Executive Officer of Rémy Cointreau USA and a member of the company’s global Executive Committee. In addition to leading the value strategy of the group’s luxury brands in the U.S. market, Farnier oversees business development in other markets of the Americas.Farnier graduated business school in France and completed the Advanced Management Program at Columbia University in New York. He began his career in sales and marketing at some of the leading food and beverage companies including Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Heineken in France and Spain. In 2003, he moved to the cosmetics industry working for Yves Saint Laurent Beauté as Sales Director and then General Manager in France before joining LVMH in August 2008. He began as the General Manager for Parfums Christian Dior in France transitioning to General Manager of Travel Retail for Parfums Christian Dior for Europe, Middle East and Africa in January 2013.An avid skier and competitive sailor, Farnier has won many regional sailing regattas in both the Laser and Figaro boat classes. Farnier is fluent in English, French and Spanish and currently resides in New York City with his wife and family.
