Marc Rey serves as the President & CEO of Shiseido Americas a division of Shiseido Company, Limited, a leading global beauty company. He is responsible for overseeing and managing the Americas organization and Shiseido’s brands and businesses in the U.S., including Shiseido, NARS Cosmetics, bareMinerals, Dolce & Gabbana, Laura Mercier and Clé de Peau Beauté, as well as the Company’s subsidiaries in Canada and Brazil. He also serves as the Global Strategic Brand Holder for the bareMinerals, NARS and Laura Mercier brands. Since joining Shiseido in 2015, Rey has orchestrated the acquisitions of Laura Mercier, MATCHCo - a personalization technology company, JWALK Creative Agency and Giaran, Inc., an AI-driven technology start-up.
Prior to joining Shiseido, Rey worked at Coty as the Regional Vice President North America. In this role he managed a rich portfolio of beauty brands including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Bottega Veneta, Rimmel, O.P.I, and philosophy, which positioned Coty as the leader in fragrance. In addition to his regional responsibilities, Rey was in charge of the global expansion of O.P.I and philosophy beyond North America.
