In January 2016, Joyce Green, who joined CHANEL in 2007, was appointed to the position of General Manager of Fashion for CHANEL, Inc., responsible for the Boutique and Multi-Brand Retail Divisions, Merchandising, Marketing, Client and Business Development, and Visual Merchandising. In this role, Joyce is charged with building the U.S. business, as well as contributing to strategies that help grow and enrich the CHANEL brand globally.
Joyce’s cross-divisional career at CHANEL commenced in the Fragrance and Beauty division, where she joined the company as Senior Vice President of National Sales. In this position, Joyce oversaw the Field Sales organization, as well as Chanel’s Customer Experience and Sales Administration departments. She worked to elevate the brand image in the U.S. market, as well as positively impact business results within all U.S. Retailers and the Field organization. Following this, she moved into the role of Senior Vice President of Makeup Marketing in 2012, where she led her team in achieving market share gains for the category. In 2013, Joyce transitioned to the Fashion Division where she assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Multi-Brand Retail, responsible for the development and oversight of the U.S. Multi-Brand business for all Fashion categories, including Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, Accessories and Eyewear.
Prior to joining CHANEL, Joyce developed extensive experience in the prestige beauty market through senior level posts at Kiehl’s Since 1851, Clarins and Guerlain.
Joyce was born in Texas, and has lived in Oklahoma, Arizona and Georgia, prior to relocating to New York City in 1996.
